New Horizons Center for Children
Exceptional Care For Children With Special Needs, Learning Differences, Developmental Challenges, Behavioral Issues, And Special Health Needs
How it Began
When my child with special needs was born over a decade ago, I spent my waking moments researching all the ways to help her…every modality, every approach, all the results, all the studies. All the time I spent researching and following rabbit-holes of information, I felt like I was missing crucial moments with her, when I could be receiving life-changing care.
It was overwhelming.
Now, I’ve gathered the best practitioners so that you don’t have to lose time researching and wondering if you’re on the right path.
You want the best, most comprehensive approaches to helping your child.
That is what New Horizons is.

who we are
We are a group of practitioners dedicated to the health, well-being and potential of children with special needs and their families.
We are all highly trained in our respective fields of alternative medicine, developmental movement and patterning, manual therapy, and holistic health.
We are all mothers with busy practices treating many, many children. :)
what we do
We approach each child individually from a holistic perspective. Each of us brings a different facet of skill to the child’s healing, development and overall health. All of our systems of medicine and interventions stem from the precept which views the individual primarily as a whole.
Our approaches can work synergistically to create a complete model of care for our clients or can be used individually to address specific issues. Every method can be used in tandem with allopathic, or Western medicine, and are not mutually exclusive. This is a truly integrative approach.
Working with practitioners from the New Horizons group, parents can utilize complimentary and functional medicine, medicinal diets, bio-medical interventions, manual therapies, neuro-developmental strategies, and individual and family counseling.
