WHAT I OFFER:
I am passionate about health and healing. I strive to help my clients both achieve and maintain optimum health.
homeopath - healthcare practitioner - advocate - educator - mom
Lizzie holds both a Diplomate and a Master’s degree in Homeopathic medicine. She is also Board Certified in Homeopathic medicine by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. (CCH)
Her journey to become a homeopath began when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis at the same time as the birth of her child with special needs. Told there was nothing to be done and that she would eventually lose her thyroid, she went in search of other methods to heal herself, and her child. The results she saw for both herself and her child were so effective, she changed careers and went back to school for seven years of education and training - four years in the academic program for homeopathic medicine and three years in clinical supervision for a Master's Degree.
A mother of three, Lizzie has used nutrition, homeopathy, herbalism and vitamin supplements with her own children for over a decade.
A life long community organizer, Lizzie is passionate that community is medicine. She has co-founded and served on many organizations from educational initiatives and cultural events, to health awareness and political reform measures. She has had several articles published in national magazines on topics such as parenting, self care and community involvement through cinema.
Lizzie is passionate about Healthcare Independence. She speaks regularly on topics such as treating and preventing acute illness at home, trusting our intuitive wisdom as parents when caring for our children, and utilizing the basic tools of homeopathy for family and individual health.
Lizzie has lived in Austin, Texas for twenty five years. She has deep relationships with the best practitioners in the area, and can refer with confidence to help her clients access a variety of approaches for complete care.
Lizzie enjoys Yoga (which she has been practicing for fifteen years) travel, dance, playing her guitar, and spending time with friends and family. The daughter of a physician, she has been greatly influenced by her father's life of service to community medicine. She is fluent in Spanish.
